OCTOBER 3D SHOOT WINNER - ISSAC B

GCAA had its fourth and final 3D shoot competition of the year this past weekend. We had 14 participants, including 2 sponsors, who all threw in $5 each. Congrats to Issac B. who scored 211 thru 22 targets! He walked away with the $50 first place prize pot. There was a tie for 2nd place, first of the year!! So we had a shoot off...Colby won! Second place was Colby with 191 and Third place Ryan D with 191.  Scheels gift cards were given out as well to 5 winners.....thank you to our sponsors!!!

August Shoot Winner - Isaac B

GCAA had its third 3D shoot competition of the year this past weekend. We had 20 participants, including 3 sponsors, who all threw in $5 each. Congrats to Issac B. who scored 205 thru 22 targets! He walked away with the $60 first place prize pot. Second place was Ryan D. with 200 and Third place Ray K. with 191.  Gift cards, shirts, hats and other prizes were given out as well to 4 winners.....thank you to our sponsors!!!

July Shoot Winner - Caleb B

GCAA had its second 3D shoot competition of the year this past weekend. We had 13 participants, including 2 sponsors, who all threw in $5 each. Congrats to Caleb B. who scored 214 thru 22 targets! He walked away with the $32 first place prize pot. Second place was Ray K. with 206 and Third place Issac B with 196. 

June Shoot Winner - Mark K

GCAA had its first 3D shoot competition of the year this past weekend. We had 9 participants, including 2 sponsors, who all threw in $5 each. Congrats to Mark K. who scored 190 thru 20 targets! CPW SHOOTING RANGE SMALL GRANT - AWARDED TO GCAA!

GCAA applied for this grant in 2020 and we were successful in receiving a $5,000 award from the CPW Shooting Range Small Grant Program this spring!! This money is being used to purchase 6 new Rinehart full size targets. NEW TARGETS ARE HERE AND ON RANGE!

IBO vs ASA vs UNIVERSAL TARGET SCORING

GCAA 2021 projects

NEW TARGET STANDS

4 new sight in range bag target stands were built in 2020! Thanks to Alpine Lumber in Granby for donating the supplies! We will be building 1 more for the 2021 season!

TARGET BACKSTOPS

We would like to install new straw bale backstops behind every target in 2021, accepting donations of straw or other baled materials.

NEW BOW RACKS

Building and Installing bow racks at each 3D target station.  Also accepting donations of benches and or picnic tables

COURSE ENTRY SIGN

New signage with a new donation box, sponsor sign, and course map was installed in the beginning of 2021! Thanks to Winterpark for donating the stand and McConnell Design & Printing Co. for some amazing print work.
